Dulling importance. Most stresses and experiences that we perceive as negative come from giving something too much importance. The things in my life that I view as very important are only that way because I choose to think that way. In reality, it’s only a story that I started telling myself. And then attached to it over time. The great thing with a story… is you can always change it. You have power over them. Dropping importance does not mean - not caring. The almost paradoxical attitude I try to keep is… loving something... being passionate about a goal... while knowing it’s only a small piece of life. And if it all goes away I’ll be fine. External forces have less power over you. The power is yours. You choose how to respond to life. And there’s so much abundance out there you will keep stumbling upon it. It’s an attitude that takes time to develop... just like learning to handstand. Put in the reps. Find more peace.

I know I have a lot of Wildness in me. Connecting with it feels good. It feels the opposite way bright screens and food delivery feels. It feels... dare I say... Primal. Natural. Animal. It's a process of unlearning. Disconnecting from tech to connect to The Natural. Here's what I've found to be helpful... Breathe. Use your diaphragm. Use breathe to up-regulate your system (Wim Hof) and down regulate ( box breath). More Spinal Movement. Movements that make me feel really good involves rotation, folding, extending, side bending, and the infinite possibilities between. Time outdoors....this is almost a duh. But needs to be priorotized over and over. Airplane Mode. Or switch it off. In a world of conformity this is all out of the box. Embracing the unique & weirdness is challenging for a minute but then becomes fun. I crave being different. Highly Different Lifestyle.

There was a time in my life when everything felt hard. I had to grind for anything I wanted to achieve. A moment of relief was found in a 6-pack or a holiday weekend. Followed by self-punishment for taking a break and indulging. Grind hard, Indulge harder. This cycle doesn’t work. The significant realization about this time in my life is… I was in conflict with reality. I was constantly trying to be somewhere and someone else. This creates clash. This was created by the mind's fantasies. I was trying to be someone that I thought would please society. A parody of what seemed cool. Accepting what is and flowing with life creates harmony. I got out of that loop by dropping the importance of what people around me were doing. Finding out what resonates with me and walking that path adamantly. Rarely looking up beyond the trees. Without the outside chatter... clarity can come through the heart. I may be the only one on Instagram using my platform to say get off Instagram.
